Cellulose biosaccharification by Irpex lacteus wood decay fungus

چکیده

Enzymatic hydrolysis is an environmentally friendly technology to produce sugars from pretreated biomass. Here, we show that the new Il-11 Irpex lacteus strain can synthesize cellulases in a high quantity. The peptone and filter paper contained medium significantly enhanced activity of endo-1,4-β-D-glucanases (app. 50 IU/mL) total 9 IU/mL), whereas with sodium carboxymethyl cellulose stimulated exo-1,4-β-D-glucanases (33 IU/mL). expression reached its maximum within 96-144 hours, optimum pH 3,7. Thermal treatment at 30 °C for 60 minutes activated cellulases, while was following 40 treatment. In total, complex (300 IU/g) saccharified untreated by 38 % 48 hours. Concentrate filter 100 IU/g more balanced enzyme-substrate ratio (2 %), which allows prolonging saccharification process will have positive effect on cost final product.

Biodegradation of 2,4,6-Trinitrotoluene by White-Rot Fungus Irpex lacteus

White-rot fungus Irpex lacteus degraded TNT significantly in proportion to the culture time. After 48 h incubation, about 95% of TNT was degraded. Two reduced metabolites were identified as 4-amino-2,6-dinitrotoluene (4-ADNT) and 2-amino-4,6-dinitrotoluene (2-ADNT) which was further degraded.

Deciphering lignocellulose deconstruction by the white rot fungus Irpex lacteus based on genomic and transcriptomic analyses

Background Irpex lacteus is one of the most potent white rot fungi for biological pretreatment of lignocellulose for second biofuel production. To elucidate the underlying molecular mechanism involved in lignocellulose deconstruction, genomic and transcriptomic analyses were carried out for I. lacteus CD2 grown in submerged fermentation using ball-milled corn stover as the carbon source. Resu...

Extra tyrosine in the carbohydrate-binding module of Irpex lacteus Xyn10B enhances its cellulose-binding ability.

The xylanase (Xyn10B) that strongly adsorbs on microcrystalline cellulose was isolated from Driselase. The Xyn10B contains a Carbohydrate-binding module family 1 (CBM1) (IrpCBMXyn10B) at N-terminus. The canonical essential aromatic residues required for cellulose binding were conserved in IrpCBMXyn10B; however, its adsorption ability was markedly higher than that typically observed for the CBM1...

Genome sequence of the white-rot fungus Irpex lacteus F17, a type strain of lignin degrader fungus

Irpex lacteus, a cosmopolitan white-rot fungus, degrades lignin and lignin-derived aromatic compounds. In this study, we report the high-quality draft genome sequence of I. lacteus F17, isolated from a decaying hardwood tree in the vicinity of Hefei, China. The genome is 44,362,654 bp, with a GC content of 49.64% and a total of 10,391 predicted protein-coding genes. In addition, a total of 18 s...

Penetration capacity of the wood-decay fungus Physisporinus vitreus

Purpose: Bioincising is a biotechnological process for improving the permeability of refractory wood such as Norway spruce heartwood using the wood-decay fungus Physisporinus vitreus. The degradation of the bordered pit membranes by P. vitreus in its first stage of wood colonization enhances the uptake of preservatives and wood modification substances, whereas the strength of the material is no...
